Westpac Banking Corporation - Using Digital Technologies to Improve User Experience
The aim is to clearly understand how banks and large financial institutions can alter existing products to better service those with diverse family and financial structures, using humbugging as an example for research. This case study acknowledges that Indigenous communities are not the only group that may fit this definition and, therefore, also not the only community that would benefit from our solution. The extensive amount of research surrounding Indigenous Australians, in comparison to other relevant groups like commune-dwelling individuals, has made them a suitable sub-group which we have used to understand issues and limitations around the area.
This is a collaborative project between USyd and Westpac.
